BEEM is the Bank of England's Ethnic Minorities Network. It’s an inclusive employee network for all Bank employees, which serves to inform, inspire, advocate and promote Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) related matters.

What is the objective of BEEM?

The objective of BEEM is to work with Human Resources and senior management towards ensuring that the experience of BAME staff within the organisation, and their outcomes in terms of performance review ratings, pay and progression, are at least equivalent to the overall staff population. We also ensure that representation at senior management levels improves, closing the gap in terms of proportional representation of the local workforce.
